Aston Martin DB918677 viewsIf I could only have one car then it would have to be this one. Aston is finally making a comeback and getting rid of most of the spare Ford parts that where littered all throughout the DB7.

This latest car is said to travel 0-100kph in a mere 4.9 sec through a 5.9-liter V-12 engine said to develop 450bhp. This engine will be mated to either a six-speed manu-matic or six-speed manual gearbox.

Outright sexy.

Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione15405 viewsAlfa is finally trying to revive their dead rear-wheel drive platform with this stunning entry. The 8C is to house a 4.2 litre supercharged V8. Horsepower is undisclosed but estimates put it well over 420bhp.

Crazy.

Volkswagen Concept R16228 viewsSo the Miata has yet another enemy.

This new concept is actually slated for release in the near future and is suppose to house a 265bhp 3.2Litre V-6.

All this for $25,000USD (est.)

Jaguar R-D617644 viewsFinally Jaguar has come out with something the world can learn from. This car marks a new era for Jaguar design, both interior and exterior. The hatchback is a test for Jaguar and may be scrapped. Interior pictures (not available yet) show a blend of aluminum and wood for an innovative new type of styling for Jaguar.

Even more interesting: this is a 230bhp 360lb-ft 2.7litre twin-turbo DIESEL. This engine is slated for release in the 2004 S-Type (this model will not be available in North America).

Saab 9-214862 viewsLeave it up to GM to only unveil a drawing of a car they plan on releasing for the 2004 model run. This Saab 9-2 is another desperate attempt by Saab to capture some of the market (any part of it).
Here Saab has cooperated with Subaru to make a luxurious yet fast car. This all-wheel drive will be powered by both the Impreza's 165-horsepower, 2.5-liter boxer four-cylinder in the base model and the WRX's 227-horsepower, turbocharged 2.0-liter boxer four in the 9-2 Aero.
ASL Garaiya.jpg
ASL Garaiya19937 viewsPerhaps you've never heard of ASL (Autobacs Seven) but you will soon. ASL is the largest supplier of aftermarket products in Japan and are planning on touching down in North America relatively shortly.

This car is to be built to custom specs outlined by the buyer. Every car will start with a 200+bhp pushing an amazing 2045lbs. That's 400lbs lighter than a Miata. Those of you that can do basic math can figure out this car is going to wail.

Prepare to get beatup by this mini-Modena.

2002 Holden Special Vehicles HRT15374 viewsThis concept was the 2002 Syndey autoshow's eye catcher. It had incredible technology everywhere and housed the same 7.0L engine as the corvette in a smaller frame. Everything was to be hand built and tweaked.

On June 16th 2003 Holden announced they would not be producing this car even with the 50 deposits on it. The $215,000 price tag was supposedly too low.

Another potential car never makes the production run.
2003 Viper Competition Concept low.jpg
2003 Dodge Viper Competition Concept44743 viewsThis Dodge concept based on the GTS/R has been anticipated for a long time and has finally been unveiled. Only 25 are expected to be built in the first year.

The 8.3L engine will produce 520bhp and 540lb-ft of tourque with an incredible curb weight of 3000lbs. With it's 0-60 in 3.8 and 1/4mile in 11.8 it threatens to be a serious contender. Even moreso when you take into account the 1.25 lateral Gs.

I hope it has good seats this time.
1991 Nazca C2 low.jpg
1991 Italdesign Nazca C2 (BMW M12)31573 viewsThis was BMWs first attempt at making a supercar. The car employed BMWs first version of their now fabled M12 engine found in the McLaren F1. However, this car only pushed out 380bhp and 406lb-ft of tourque mated to a six-speed manual.

0-60 was 4.1sec and top speed was 185mph. Only three were ever built and are still running today. Not bad for a 12 year old car.
