2006 Honda Civic Si Back

Honda sells more than 300,000 Civics in the U.S. annually, but this year its sales are falling behind Toyota's Corolla/Matrix. Younger enthusiasts, who turned pre-2001 Civics into a sport-compact icon, have stayed away, and the 2002 Si hatchback became the first Honda here to go straight to incentives. So the 2006 Civic Si is Honda's most critical new car in, well, forever. The Si is a coupe again, with 200 horses from a naturally aspirated 2.0-liter inline-four that revs to 8000 rpm.
