1999 Ford Mustang GT



Engine Mods

• Flowmaster Exhaust
• Bassani X-Pipe
• Cold Air Intake
• 3.73 gears (for daily city driving, 3.90/4.10 is for high rpm highway
driving for places like the west, right?)
• Throttle Body
• Fuel Injectors (needed?)
• Spark Plug (fuel/starts?)



Rear Mods

• ??????????
Could use a list of upgrades to the rear axles/suspension (aside from lowering the suspension).



Big Money Mods (worth it for a small block?)

• Nitrous
• Blower
• 4.10 gears


My friend told me I should add a coil pack to my list, but only the '97-'98 GTs
need those, right?

I think the 99 had the PI engine, so that's better than the previous engines. With the engine mods you have listed, I doubt you will need any larger injectors. 3.73's are a good gear. Autolite spark plugs are good, I don't know which one specifically. Subframe connectors, torque box re-enforcement, control arms for the rear end, maybe traction bars, but you wont need these at the stock power level. Nitrous or a blower are excellent power adders. You would need new injectors for the blower, plus a new tune or chip for the computer. I'll check back in a bit to see if you have any more questions.
